About Us

Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support offers support and services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in 14 communities across Greater Nashua and Milford. Our mission is to cultivate communities free from violence as we support victims and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking.

Since 1976, Bridges has offered support and options to individuals who need to talk, need information, or feel alone, afraid, or hopeless. All services are free and confidential, and advocates are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week via the 24-hour support line or for in-person support at hospitals and local police stations. You do not need to be in crisis to reach out. Bridges’ services include crisis intervention and safety planning, emergency shelter, transitional housing, child advocacy, education and outreach, support groups, cultural outreach, and case management with referrals to community partners.

Bridges serves more than 2,000 individuals each year. For many of Bridges’ clients, their lives have been marked by significant and repeated trauma with someone else in control and making decisions for them. Bridges supports members of the community who are scared, alone, and in desperate need of assistance as they travel the pathway to independence and work to rebuild their lives.
